I started my first year of college when I was 16 years old and a junior in high school. I finished both college and high school with a GPA of over 3.7. After completing the first year of an online early college program, I was granted the chance to continue my education in the United States of America with a spectacular scholarship, where I am currently a Junior college student.
I was born and raised in Turkey in a small touristic city filled with people from all over the world. I learned English at a very early age through academics and the environment I grew up in. There wasn't a huge variety of jobs where I am from, you are either in tourism or connected to tourism and that was simply not enough for me. I knew from a very early age that normal academic life and a normal interest wouldn't be enough for me. So I started learning different languages and got interested in computers since they were the only thing complicated enough to keep me entertained. I learned C# while 10 years old and continued my journey through Python, Java, and C++. Finally, I felt like I found the thing I was born to do. But Turkey's educational system cut my way forcing me to quit everything I love and study like a mindless zombie. I needed to find an escape so I entered all English exams, and math tests and applied to US Universities. I got accepted into Southern Utah University with a great Scholarship at the age of 16. Studied my way up without ever taking a break and managed to complete 39 credits of coursework while maintaining a 3.78 GPA at the age of 17 which officially made me a sophomore. Fast forward a year and now I am in the United States, developing software and living my dream.
